How easy are e-surfboards to use?
E‑surfboards are easier to learn than traditional surfboards or wakesurfers because electric propulsion replaces the need for waves. The EasyRider is especially beginner‑friendly thanks to smooth, controlled acceleration and a stable board. Riders don’t need prior surfing or balance skills, and speed is managed with a handheld remote.
Is the EasyRider safe?
Yes. The EasyRider is engineered with multiple built in safety systems that make it one of the safest electric surfboards in its class. It features dual independent kill switches that immediately stop the board if the rider falls, a propeller protection grid to prevent contact, and an anti slip deck for secure footing. The battery also features systems that protect against overheating, short circuits and more. The board is fully IP67 waterproof, CE certified, and approved by Transport Canada, making it compliant for real world use in Canadian waters.
How long will a charge last?
The EasyRider lasts for an hour, on average, on a single charge. Compared to similar jet surfboards with only 20 minute charge times, the EasyRider lets you stay longer on the water. When you're finished, it charges quickly and easy, with an average lifespan of up to 800 cycles or about 10 years of use.
