HIGHMARK CHARGER X AVALANCHE AIRBAG VEST

The Highmark Charger X provides the absolute best protection available with a full side-wrap and chest protection.  The Charger X is built for hard-charging riders who know how important protecting your chest and sides from impacts. This vest features the 3.0 Inflation System, an ultralight, ultracompact avalanche airbag from Snowpulse. Featuring an intuitive handle with adjustable height, new user-friendly set-up and the lightest, most compact system ever designed by Snowpulse.

THE HANDLE

In an emergency situation, deployment of the airbag needs to be fast and intuitive. Studies have shown that in an extreme situation, many users are over-challenged and do not manage to activate the airbag. Snowpulse’s deployment handle is intuitive to operate and height-adjustable, allowing it to be adapted to the wearer’s body height. The deployment handle is a bright orange color to make it even more visible. The handle can be folded to allow compact storage in the shoulder strap and features the tried-and-tested “T” shape.

THE INFLATION SYSTEM

The Inflation System 3.0 is responsible for deploying the airbag by activating the deployment mechanism and filling it with a combination of ambient air and gas from the pressure cartridge. It is a reliable, low-maintenance, and user-friendly system - simply screw in the cartridge and you're good to go.

THE REMOVABLE AIRBAG SYSTEM (RAS)

The avalanche airbag is a piece of safety equipment that needs to work with 100% certainty and reliability. The RAS delivers reliable airbag deployment in any emergency, unaffected by weather, temps, or pressure, thanks to its durable pressure cartridge system. Its strong initial burst ensures reliable performance under extreme forces and recent upgrades improve its user-friendliness and reduce the need for maintenance.
