This system efficiently activates the deployment mechanism by releasing the pressure cartridge with a pin and inflating the airbag. By also utilizing ambient air alongside stored gas, the integrated air volume amplifier successfully fills the airbag. One of Snowpulse's main goals in developing this system was to combine the air volume amplifier and deployment mechanism into a single housing, resulting in a more compact and lightweight design.
